Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire in Montreal's West Island is a tiny quiet town. It is a bit of a mystery as the West Island can be confusing to people unfamiliar with its meaning. Many people believe that it is an island west of Montreal however it's actually the West Island encompasses everything between the cities that are Lachine as well as West. Her most recognizable role was the one of Rita (pictured in the below photo) on The Handmaid's Tale. Brugel is the only Canadian actor in Season 1 and only appeared occasionally.
